Your map markers, visited locations, display preferences and survival checklists are saved in this browser. There are no accounts or cloud saves.
Your map data
Marker links encode the selected markers in the URL fragment. They are only shared when you send the link. Our server does not receive the fragment. Anyone with the link can read those markers, so keep personal information out of shared notes. Export a save before clearing browser storage or moving devices.
Site measurement
We use Google Analytics with analytics storage and all advertising consent set to denied. It sends limited, cookieless page-view measurements, including the page path and basic device information. We remove URL queries, map coordinates, markers and referrer paths from the page-view fields. Automatic interaction tracking, Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled. We respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track by skipping Analytics.
Google receives these measurement requests, including the connection information needed to deliver them. This is separate from your locally saved map and checklist data. Read Google’s privacy policy for their processing details.
Hosting and email
Cloudflare delivers the website and map tiles and may process standard request information for security and delivery. Feedback opens your email app; messages are sent only when you choose to send them. Do not include private saved markers unless they are needed to explain a problem.
Control your data
Use the map’s Export and Import controls to keep a backup. Delete individual markers in the map, reset visited marks in Layers, or clear this site’s browser storage to remove all local saves. No advertising scripts or consent popups are used.
